The Manchester United boss insists the striker's valuation has no influence on his team selection and has refused to confirm whether he will feature against QPR  today being Saturday

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has issued an ultimatum to Radamel Falcao by insisting that the striker still needs to prove himself at Old Trafford.


The Colombia international has scored three goals in 13 appearances following his arrival on loan from Monaco but failed to make Van Gaal's matchday squad on Sunday as United slipped to a 1-0 defeat against Southampton.

Falcao denied reports which claimed he stormed out of Old Trafford after being left out but Van Gaal refused to elaborate on the player's reaction following his omission.
