Ten passengers missing at the sudden disappearrance of a plane in eastern Indonesia

A PASSENGER plane carrying 10 people on a domestic flight is missing in eastern Indonesia, an official said Friday.

      Transportation Ministry spokesman Julius Barata said the DHC-6 Twin Otter plane lost contact while on a flight in South Sulawesi province.He said the plane lost radio contact about 30 minutes before it was expected to land in Makassar, the provincial capital.It was carrying three crew and seven passengers, including three children, from Masamba in the same province.A rescue team has been sent to search forplane,owned by the private Aviastar Mandiri airline.Indonesia, a sprawling archipelago of nearly 250 million people, has been plagued by transportation accidents in recent years, including plane and train crashes and ferry sinkings.

Manchester City not bothered by reported probe into Eliaquim Mangala transfer

Manchester City are not concerned by any FIFA investigation into Eliaquim Mangala's £42 million ($61m) transfer from Porto over the controversial issue of third-party ownership as they own the defender outright.  

         According to Bloomberg, FIFA is reportedly probing the 2014 deal to determine if investor Doyen Sports played an illegal role in the France international's move.

However, sources told ESPN FC that City purchased 100 percent of Mangala's registration, rather than owning him in conjunction with any third party, and that his £42m transfer fee was paid in full to Porto, not to any agent or agency. Mangala became the most expensive defender in Premier League history when he signed for City last summer, but the league leaders have never had any player owned by a third party, which is banned in England, whereas it is comparatively common in Portugal.

Street fight turned murder case

The Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions has continued with the trial of a 20-year-old, Benjamin Sunday, who allegedly murdered one Gbenga Adigun, in a street fight.

Sunday, who has been facing trial for two years, allegedly committed the offence in 2013 when he was 18 years old.

The charge sanctioned by a former Lagos Director of Public Prosecutions, Mrs. Olabisi Ogungbensan, now a High Court judge, read, “Benjamin Sunday, on the 2nd day of June 2013, at Harmony Estate, Ifako Ijaiye, Lagos, in the Ikeja Judicial Division, murdered one Gbenga Adigun by stabbing him with a broken bottle.”
