The Lagos State gubernatorial candidate for the All Progressive Party, Akinwunmi Ambode, has promised to take care of the elderly if he wins the elections,

He states senior citizens and pensioners are important in the state and deserve the best treatment. Ambode had a meeting with members of the National Union of Pensioners in Ikeja, adding that the APC government is pledging to take care of their needs.
The venue is said to have been full by pensioners of the state, as they gathered to hear what the gubernatorial candidate had to say. They have described Ambode as a great leader and are looking forward to what will be offered to them after the elections.
