When news about award-winning movie costumier and manager of Jackie Appiah, Samira Yakubu's wedding hit the headlines earlier this week, there were no pictures and information about Samira’s husband.

It has been disclosed that Samira tied the knot with her longtime partner, Amjad Zakaria who hails from the Northern regional capital Tamale.
The 3-days spectacular wedding took place in Tamale and Bolgatanga.

The traditional wedding ceremony was attended by actress Jackie Appiah, Kalsoume Sinare, Fred Nuamah and other close friends and family.

A firmly by invitation wedding reception is scheduled to take place this weekend in Accra for friends and family who could not attend the ceremony up North.
