Rihanna reveals in an interview she had with an author and film maker Miranda July.
This was Rihanna first interview in years though The New York Times TMagazine published this earlier this week.During the interview Rihanna expressed her desire to host a big concert in Nigeria West Africa for free.

TM Magazine,In a conversation with Rihanna, the pop star opens up about what she searches on the internet when ever she is online she said “Oh, random things. Like I will be sitting around Googling childbirth”, her reservations about being “sent” alone to New York to record a demo as a teenager, and what she looks for in a man “guys who are cultured… speak other languages or know things about other parts of the world or history”.

Nigeria is becoming known for good in terms of entertainment as foriegn artist loves West Africa and if being call upon they will come perform. Most interestingly during the interview with Rihanna, the article mentions that Miranda July asked a question suggested by her Nigerian cab driver en route to the interview: when is Rihanna going to West Africa for a perfomance?

Rihanna responded, “You know what? If I ever would go to West Africa, it would probably be in Nigeria and I shall probably be for a free concert. I would want to do something for the people there. Maybe we can make a whole event, the way Bob Marley would did his when he was alive. Just for the people. And if they climb over the gate, well let them climb over the gate.” We’ll be keeping tabs on that one.
