After 2 weeks of Anambra election saga, Willie Obiano of APGA has been
declared winner of Anambra Governorship election according to the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The resident commissioner of INEC in Anambra state, Professor Chukwuemeka Onukogu declared in Awka that Willie Obiano won the election by polling 180,178 votes in 19 local government areas in the state.
The election results were declared after the completion of today’s supplementary elections which was boycotted by major parties that earlier participated in the first ballot.
Meanwhile, APC is set to challenge the result of the election result saying Gov. Peter Obi government joined forces with INEC to manipulate the election.
