A fruit salad without water melon is not Complete.- No why ?

Water melon is a fruit with a difference, big difference! It is juicy, delicious and does wonders to the human metabolism.
At first sight, the green, roundish fruit may look like just a football anybody could toss around. But then,
slice it up and ooh, you would want to devour the reddish rich fruit that stares right at you.

Oh yes, the nutritional benefits cannot be understated. The fruit, according to organicfacts.net, aids in the prevention of kidney disorders, high blood pressure, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, heat stroke, macular degeneration and impotence. The list, in fact, is endless.

Is there really anyone who doesn’t like water melon? Most kids love it! They dig into the juicy fruit and they feel their day is made.

Are you hot, tired and thirsty? There is nothing as refreshing as a chilled watermelon juice. It will not only quench your thirst, it is soothing and of course, filling at the same time.

A fruit salad without water melon is not always complete. The reddish colour would give a fruit salad an appealing look, not to talk of the juicy, delicious taste it adds to the salad.

Fruit salad

Ingredients

Watermelon
Apples
Pineapple
Pawpaw
Lime
Sugar

Preparation

Wash all the fruits very well in order to avoid germs. Cut and squeeze the lime to extract the juice. Add the sugar to the lime juice in a small bowl. The mixture will serve as your sweetener.
Peel and seed the other fruits as applicable to each of the fruits. Then cut the fruits and place in a salad bowl. Sprinkle the sweetener on the fruit and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Serve just like that or you can just add a topping of yogurt or whipped cream.
